Agriculture Science Teacher

Professional/Certified - Secondary - Agriculture

Primary Purpose: Direct and manage the agricultural science program for assigned campus. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI) Demonstrated competency in agricultural science Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of agricultural science and technology Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Ability to supervise agricultural field experiences Ability to manage budget and personnel Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

 

Para-Professional Aide

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Hold or ability to obtain a valid Texas educational aide certificate

Experience and ability to work well with children

Ability to assist with classroom instruction

Effective verbal and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal skills

Proficient computer skills to develop spreadsheets, databases, and perform word processing

 

Salary Schedule:

This is a 10-month position. Salary is based on the district salary schedule. All applicable state and local benefits apply.

 

Generalist Teacher EC- 5

Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Education: Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate and endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned (Pre-K & Kinder). Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of core academic subject assigned. General knowledge of curriculum and instruction. Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Compensation: Per District Salary Scale. Counselor, Teacher Facilitator

Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling program at assigned campus. Counsel students to fully develop each student's academic, career, personal, and social abilities and address the needs of special population students. Direct and manage assigned areas of instructional program and campus operations. Oversee assigned student activities and services. Compensation: Per District Salary Scale. Special Education Teacher

Primary Purpose:
Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels. Work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned. Substitute Teachers

We are currently in need of individuals willing to serve as substitute teachers. Positions are on an as needed basis. Individuals interested in serving as a substitute must be able to pass a background investigation and be fingerprinted. The possibility of serving as a long term substitute this year is very real.
