I graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a degree in English Language Arts and a minor in Reading. I also hold a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and am currently finishing up my last year of my Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
I have currently been in education for eight years and hope to retire in this field, as I love being an educator and working with children.
I come to Olfen with my husband, Mark who is also a new teacher at Olfen ISD, and my two children, Lavelle and Mark III. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and begin a relationship with the students, staff, and families of the Olfen School community. I may be reached via phone or email at firstname.lastname@example.org or feel free to stop by to introduce yourself any time, as my door is always open to you. Rest assured that my goal will be to continue building on what everyone has worked so hard to achieve, and to use that strong foundation to move Olfen ISD to the next level.
I am fortunate to have one goofy puppy named Opal and plan to add a few bunnies to my list of pets in the near future. I also am the blessed Turtoise mom to a 12 year old tortoise named Jack.
My current hobbies include: travelling to areas I have never been before (Paint Rock pictographs anyone?), reading fictional books, rock hunting, arrowhead hunting, spending time with my family, and finding the best swimming holes in the best state in the world – Texas!
